Med Spa Directories Compared: What to Check

Medical Spa Locator publishes this page and is one of the directories being compared, so treat it as a disclosed-interest document. Only what was observed on a live site, with the date, is recorded for any directory. Where a site was not read, the page says so instead of guessing.
Six questions to put to any med spa directory

Where Medical Spa Locator is weak
- Ratings and review counts are Google data. They tell you how reviewers scored a business, not whether care was safe or effective.
- Many listings are built from public business records and have not been claimed or reviewed by the owner, so hours, treatment menus and staff can be stale.
- Most listings do not carry a Human Verified record. Directory inclusion is not a credential check.
- National price ranges are editorial estimates without published row-level sources. Do not treat them as quotes.
- Paid placement affects ordering. Enterprise placement is labeled; Premium ranks ahead of claimed and free listings without a paid-placement label.
- The directory launched in 2025 and has little independent third-party coverage yet. Its track record is short.
- Rating-based ordering favors clinics with many Google reviews over newer or smaller ones.
