I am very happy with my first laser experience. The technician Laura is extremely thorough, precise, and methodical, which is exactly what you want for laser! Scheduling is also very convenient. I’m only sorry I waited this long to try laser treatments. I love the results and will definitely be back for more areas at Semper.

My cousins recommended Semper and had started getting their underarms done here. I decided to give it a shot and it’s been amazing. Only 6 sessions in and I don’t even have to shave my underarms most of the times. Highly recommend to give them a shot and much more reliable than a random salon doing laser. The staff is trained thoroughly to ensure they treat it as a medical procedure vs just hair removal.

Laura is an amazing, friendly, and thorough tech. She is so personable and makes the actual session super easy and comfortable. My biggest gripe with this location is the administrative staff that work the front desk. The first red flag was when I had an appointment scheduled for 6pm (business hours), drove 40 minutes to Evanston, and showed up to a closed shop with the lights off and nobody answering the phone. I was put off by this so much that I delayed my next appointment for months. Recently, I came back to finish my remaining sessions, and once again I decided to ask them if my appointment was on the schedule because I did not receive any confirmation email or text, even though I booked my slot while physically at the desk. Lo and behold, my appointment was missing and not in the system. Imagine I didn’t ask beforehand; I would have driven another 40 minutes for nothing again. Services here are great, but be cautious of your scheduling and always double check with the staff ahead of your appointment.
