How to Finance Med Spa Treatments: Payment Plans, Care Cards & Memberships

Most med spas offer three financing paths: manufacturer loyalty programs (Allē for Botox/fillers, Aspire for other brands) that discount per-unit pricing, third-party medical credit cards like CareCredit or Cherry for 0%–interest installment plans, and in-house membership pricing that spreads cost across monthly visits.

Manufacturer loyalty and rewards programs

Allergan Aesthetics runs Allē (formerly Alle/Brilliant Distinctions), a free rewards program for Botox, Juvederm, CoolSculpting, and SkinMedica purchases — points earned per treatment convert to dollars off future visits, and Allē periodically issues discount offers redeemable at participating providers.

Galderma runs a comparable program, Aspire Rewards, for Dysport, Restylane, and Sculptra. Both programs are free to join and do not require credit approval — they reduce your effective per-unit or per-syringe cost rather than financing the full amount.

Medical credit cards and installment financing

CareCredit and Cherry are the two most widely accepted financing options at U.S. med spas. Both offer promotional 0% interest for 6–24 months on approved purchases, with standard deferred-interest terms after that if the balance is not paid in full by the promotional deadline — read the terms carefully, since deferred interest can apply retroactively to the full original balance.

Approval is typically a soft credit check that takes a few minutes at checkout, either online or in-office. Financing companies pay the provider directly; you repay the lender in fixed installments.

In-house membership and package pricing

Many med spas offer monthly membership tiers (commonly $99–$299/month) that bundle a set number of units, sessions, or a percentage discount on all services. Packages — buying a set of sessions upfront, such as 3 microneedling treatments or 6 laser hair removal sessions — typically reduce the per-session cost by 10%–20% compared to paying one visit at a time.

Ask whether membership credit rolls over if unused, and whether it applies to injectables (which are often excluded from percentage-off memberships due to product cost).

Pricing

Botox (per session)$200–$900
Dermal fillers (per syringe)$600–$2,000

Frequently Asked Questions

Does insurance cover Botox or fillers at a med spa?+

No. Cosmetic Botox, fillers, and most med spa aesthetic treatments are elective procedures and are not covered by health insurance. Botox used for a diagnosed medical condition (such as chronic migraine or hyperhidrosis) may be covered when billed through a physician's office under a medical, not cosmetic, claim — ask your provider whether they bill that way.

Is CareCredit or Cherry better for med spa financing?+

Both offer similar promotional 0% financing windows; availability depends on which the specific med spa is set up to accept. Compare the exact promotional period, the deferred-interest terms if you don't pay it off in time, and whether a soft or hard credit check is used before applying.

Can I combine a manufacturer rewards program with a payment plan?+

Yes. Allē or Aspire points reduce your total price before financing is applied — for example, redeeming Allē points to lower a filler syringe's cost, then financing the remaining balance through CareCredit.

What happens if I miss a payment on a med spa financing plan?+

Late or missed payments on CareCredit, Cherry, or similar plans can trigger the loss of a promotional 0% rate, late fees, and — for deferred-interest plans — retroactive interest on the full original balance. Missed payments are also reported to credit bureaus like any other credit account.
