A HydraFacial is priced by tier, not by area of the face. Each tier adds steps or products to the same base treatment, so the price tracks what is included. This guide shows the planning range for each tier, what a year of treatments adds up to, what changes the price, and what the published evidence does and does not show.

How much does a HydraFacial cost by tier?

The Signature tier covers the base cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate steps. Deluxe adds a booster serum aimed at a specific concern. Platinum adds LED light and lymphatic drainage on top. Tier names and contents are set by the manufacturer and each clinic's menu, so two clinics can bundle the same tier differently.

How much does a year of HydraFacials cost?

Because most people repeat the treatment, the yearly figure matters more than a single visit. The rows below are derived by multiplying the full per-session range ($150–$350) by how often you go.

How oftenSessions per yearYearly cost (derived)
One session to try it1$150–$350
Every three months4$600–$1,400
Every month12$1,800–$4,200

What drives the price of a HydraFacial?

  • Tier. This is the biggest lever. Moving from Signature to Platinum is the difference between the bottom and top of the range.
  • Boosters and add-ons. Some clinics list a booster in the tier price and others bill it separately. Ask for the total with everything included.
  • The clinic. Rent, staffing and brand positioning differ from one clinic to the next. We do not publish a percentage for city versus city because we have no dataset that supports one. Get the same quote from two or three local providers instead.
  • Packages and memberships. Bundles can lower the per-visit price, but they commit you to a number of visits. Compare the total, not the headline per-visit rate.

What should you ask before booking a HydraFacial?

  • Which tier is this price for, and which steps and boosters are included?
  • Is the quote the full price including any add-ons, tax and tip guidance?
  • What happens if my skin reacts, and who is the supervising clinician?
  • If I buy a package, what is the cancellation and expiry policy?

Is a HydraFacial worth the price?

A HydraFacial is a surface treatment. It is best understood as a low-downtime way to exfoliate and hydrate, not a fix for scars, deep lines or significant sun damage. The published evidence is limited. A small open-label study of 20 adults with mild-to-moderate acne, with no control group, reported that the share rated clear or almost clear rose from 20 to 65 percent by investigator assessment after six treatments (Storgard et al., 2022). A study of eight volunteers using skin imaging saw short-term changes in the outer skin layer but no visible difference in dermal collagen two weeks later (Razi et al., 2024). Both are small, and neither shows how long any benefit lasts.

If your goal is acne scars or texture, other treatments are studied more closely. Our microneedling cost guide and chemical peel cost guide cover the options, and microneedling vs chemical peel compares them directly.

Is a HydraFacial safe?

Most people tolerate it well, but redness, irritation, sensitivity and reactions to the serums can happen. Tell the provider about product allergies, recent isotretinoin use, active infections or cold sores, and any skin condition before the visit so they can adjust the products.

How we sourced these prices

The ranges in this guide are Medical Spa Locator's national editorial planning estimates, last reviewed in October 2026. They are not a survey of current prices, a measured average, or a quote from any provider. We do not publish a city-by-city adjustment because we do not have a dataset that would support one. Rows marked "derived" are the per-session range multiplied by a session count. The HydraFacial price index explains the method and shows patient-reported samples where enough reports exist. Ask any provider for an itemized quote before you book.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a HydraFacial cost?+

A HydraFacial costs about $150 to $350 per session in 2026, based on our national planning estimate. Signature is roughly $150 to $200, Deluxe roughly $200 to $275, and Platinum roughly $275 to $350. These are editorial ranges, not quotes, so ask the provider for an itemized total.

What is the difference between HydraFacial Signature, Deluxe and Platinum?+

Signature covers the base cleanse, exfoliate, extract and hydrate steps. Deluxe adds a booster serum for a specific concern. Platinum adds LED light and lymphatic drainage. Clinics bundle tiers differently, so confirm which steps and boosters are included in the price you are quoted.

How much does a year of HydraFacials cost?+

A year of HydraFacials costs about $600 to $1,400 if you go every three months and $1,800 to $4,200 if you go monthly. Those totals are derived by multiplying the $150 to $350 per-session range by four or twelve visits. Packages and memberships can change the real total.

How often should I get a HydraFacial?+

There is no required schedule. Providers commonly suggest repeating it about monthly, while some people go only a few times a year. The right interval depends on your skin and goals, so ask your provider and start with a single session before buying a package.

Is there downtime after a HydraFacial?+

Most people have little or no downtime and return to normal activity right away. Mild redness can last a short time. Irritation, sensitivity or a reaction to a serum can occur, so tell your provider about allergies, recent isotretinoin use and any active skin condition beforehand.

Is a HydraFacial worth it?+

A HydraFacial is worth considering if you want a low-downtime exfoliating and hydrating treatment. It is a surface treatment and is not a substitute for scar or deep-line treatments. The published studies are small, so judge value by your own goals and by comparing itemized quotes.

Why do HydraFacial prices differ so much between clinics?+

Prices differ because clinics sell different tiers, bill boosters differently, and run different overhead and packages. We do not publish a city-by-city percentage because no dataset supports one. Request the same itemized quote from two or three providers and compare totals, not headline rates.

How does a HydraFacial compare with microneedling?+

A HydraFacial is a surface treatment with little downtime, planned at $150 to $350 per session. Microneedling is planned at $200 to $700 per session, usually involves one to three days of redness, and is studied more for acne scars. They target different concerns, so choose by goal.
