Aks Allure

It was my first haircut after a year. AKS allure is awesome. Patricia did my hair, and she literally knows how to treat different hair for different people. She was so gentle all the time and made my hair look amazing. I had a great time with her. I'm definitely going back again. The service is extraordinary and relaxing . They have maintained the place so well, neat and spacious, with good music. The staff are polite , friendly, and welcoming. I had great experience with AKS allure. Kudos ladies

Emily is the best! The first time I went to see her I walked out with the best haircut I’ve ever received, and I was so excited to come back and get more services with her. This second time I saw her, I got a partial highlight, Olaplex treatment, cut and blow dry. Emily assessed my hair and we worked through what I wanted - subtle highlights that still looked fairly natural and a crisp trim with face-framing layers. She did such a beautiful job on the highlights (as evidenced by the attached picture), and my hair feels wonderful after the Olaplex treatment and cut/dry. She’s both a great person and a wonderful stylist - I couldn’t recommend her services enough, and the rest of the Aks Allure staff is wonderful as well.

I had an awesome experience at Aks Allure in Lake Bluff. This hidden gem in the NW burbs of Chicago is a boutique salon that offers everything from haircuts & color to waxing & tanning, and the prices are amazinggggggg. I'm accustomed to spending upwards of $90 on my haircuts, and Aks offers women's haircuts starting at $50. Another perk is that the area is really nice - tons of restaurants, cafes & shops, which I always like when I'm treating myself to spa day. I scheduled an appointment to get my hair cut and a deep conditioning treatment with their cosmetologist, Lucy. I showed Lucy a random celebrity photo that I was hoping to mimic, and Lucy spent 10-15 minutes walking me through the technicalities of the haircut I was showing her, my hair type/texture, and what I was hoping my hair would look like. She was so thorough, and I walked out feeling super educated on my hair needs and wants. My deep conditioning treatment felt so good, and I'm still feeling the effects of it 10 days later. Best part? I randomly asked if they could squeeze in an eyebrow threading, and they were so flexible & accommodating last minute. McKinley did my eyebrows in less than 10 minutes, and they look amazing. Salon was super clean, all of their chairs are spaced out 6-8 feet, and their COVID-19 protocols are thorough. Safe to say, I'll definitely be back.

Beautiful place on a beautiful street as you walk in is greated with a warm welcome, warm smell of fragrances. Great decore with very nice lighting, the back rooms are private for other more Personal treatments. Stylist is very friendly and open to questions and Informational about products and methods. I was amazed with how much they offered from skin treatments,hair styling, hydrofacials and several other offers. I recommend this place to all who are looking for a quality stylist

Very nice Spa! I got a lash tint and a spray tan with Bella! She was very sweet and gentle in her processes and does a fantastic job! My spray tan did not come out as an orange tone or blotchy, which I was quite worried about with spray tans. And my tint lasted for about a month! She made it look very natural. I will definitely be back soon!
